Theres a quote I have seen that I'm not going to bother finding the source of, it said "The worst thing that happened to me as an artist was being a designer" That quote basically summarizes the emotion and meaning behind this piece. It was trial and error trying to shake the habit I was in of making things look good. It was my job, I organized colours and shapes to please people all day long for over 10 years. This piece was one of the first pieces I hated that I loved, I felt I ruined it and completed it simultaneously. Perfectly imperfect it helped me learn to control my critic and let my creativity flow.
